I wrote and recorded the first song When She Flies (nothing to do with witches and broomsticks but more about personal and spiritual freedom) when Laurence Cooper and I were asked to play at the Percy Thomson Art Gallery in Stratford, Taranaki New Zealand for the opening of the I Am Woman art exhibition celebrating 125 years of women's Suffrage. This song was my entry as my music is my art. The lyrics seemed to strongly resonate with the women who attended the opening. Yes, tears were shed.

When She Flies

Sweet Destination

Walk Into Your Love

Round and Round

Take This Heart

Cries The Night

The imagery arrived in my head, and then I wrote the song. Backwards, I know, but it's one of my favourites AND the video is already in my head and ready to be created. Pat on drums and bass guitar.

Justice

My son Ben Gorton on classical and electric guitars - such a talent! Pat Brennan on drums and bass guitar.

Just Sitting Here

Pat on drums. I don't think he'd ever had to play so quietly before! Excellent restraint. Laurence playing some heartfelt lead guitar.

Always

This was on the Orlando St Band's first, and only, EP released digitally in 2019. Laurence Cooper on lead guitar and Pat on drums and bass.
